“My name is Sybille, and I was born and raised in Belgium. Cooking and baking have always been part of my life, starting at home and growing into a true passion over time.
After more than 20 years in law enforcement, I decided to take a different path and build something of my own. Whym’sy Waffles is the result of that decision. It is a way for me to share the flavors, traditions, and recipes I grew up with, right here in Southwest Florida.”
Every waffle starts from scratch with European flour imported from France and chocolate imported from Belgium, along with milk, eggs, butter, and authentic Belgian pearl sugar. We serve both Liège waffles, known for their rich texture and caramelized sugar, and Brussels waffles, which are lighter, crisp, and perfect for sweet or savory toppings.
That balance of tradition and fun is what makes Whym’sy Waffles feel special. It is a little escape, a little indulgence, and a little piece of Belgium right here in Fort Myers Beach.
